Jan 24-26, 2010 January 2010 RESA (Real Estate Staging Association) had their first ever Home Staging conference in Las Vegas. Because I am so dedicated to the staging industry I knew I had to attend, and I’m glad I did! We had many presenters and all of them had amazing information! I was also able to meet Matthew Finlason from HGTV’s “The Stagers”. If you have ever seen the show you know who I’m talking about! I love his outgoing personality and amazing ways with colour! I also met many stagers through-out the North American region, where we got to share our stories, ideas, methods etc. It’s amazing to see how everyone is so different from each other. I look forward to the 2011 RESA conference.

Jan 25, 2010 For the second year in a row, Kristy Morrison has been nominate for the Real Estate Staging Association’s (RESA) “Rookie Of The Year” award. The RESA Rookie Stager of the Year is a professional home stager, from across North America, that has been in business less than two years and is demonstrating professionalism and excellence in staging. This year the nomination for this award exceeded their limit so the five finalists were selected by their peers, judge on photo examples of their work Kristy became one of the five finalists, with the winner to be announce at the RESA conference in Las Vegas on January 25th. Although Kristy didn’t take home the top award, she is still honoured to be one of 5 top rookie stagers in North America.
