Capital
Home Staging & Design is owned and operated by professional
stager and decorator Kristy Morrison. Kristy loves real estate
so much so that she is on to her 3rd house at the age of 26.
She has a passion for sprucing up a house and staging it to
sell. She wants to share her skills with the public. She graduated
from Quality Course Design School as an official ISRP (International
Staging and Redesign Professional). She also attended the PCC
(Professional Colour Consulting workshop) and IOP (International
Organizing Professional workshop) in Toronto. As a graduate
of such programs, Kristy was able to become affiliated with
some of the leading staging and design companies such as the
RESA (Real Estate Staging Association). Kristy is always furthering
her education by attending seminars that are held within the
Ottawa area as well as the RESA Home Staging conference held
every year in Las Vegas Nevada. Because of the passion Kristy
has for this industry she has been the only home stager in Ottawa
to have been nominated for and win awards. In 2009 Kristy won
the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Market Place Ethics
in the small business category. Also for two years in a row
(2009 & 2010) Kristy has been one of the top four rookie stagers
in all of North America! She is also up for the Top 40 Under
40 Award this year and is very excited to be nominated. Kristy,
along with her staff, are determined to get the job done in
a timely and professional manner their passion will no doubt
help with the sale of any home they are working with.

Jennifer
Anthony is our newest addition to the Capital Home Staging &
Design Team. She comes to us with an eagerness to meet and assist
our clients. Jennifer’s initial interest in design began when
she worked in a china shop creating window displays. Design
elements such as balance, emphasis, rhythm, and scale slowly
revealed themselves to her as she built detailed vignettes with
distinct design flair. This interest led Jennifer to further
her education. She received accreditation from Algonquin Colleges
in Interior Decorating Program. During her time at Algonquin
she was featured in the Ottawa Citizen for winning 1st prize
for ‘Best Design Concept’, for the college restaurant ‘Restaurant
International’ makeover and 1st place for ‘Best Custom Light
Fixture.’ The decorating industry is such a diverse field that
upon graduation Jennifer still wanted to explore the many different
avenues available. So she pursued certification in Home Staging
with Haverhill and have found it to be a true passion of hers.
Jennifer has also been featured on HGTV and the DIY Network
with some of her staging & design concepts. She is also currently
pursuing her interests in feng shui, and would like to offer
this service to her clients in the future.
